Mother's Day: Bulletin Board Ideas

Guess Who's Mommy?

Ask the parents to bring in pictures of each child's mommy as children.  Create a bulletin board
with these photos. See if the kids can match the  moms' photos to the correct classmate. It may help to have pictures of the children as well. This promotes an understanding of growing up and the aging process.

Mystery Moms

This is great for all the Moms that they would have to try a  guess which one was them.
 Have each child draw a picture of his mother. Then have them dictate five clues about their mom.
 Tape a strip of paper over each of the last four clues: then display the clues under the picture.
 Each day, reveal an additional clue, and encourage moms to pick out their pictures.
 On the last day, mount photos on the matching drawings to reveal the identities.
