Ice Cream: Dramatic Play

Ice Cream Parlor

Make scoops of Ice Cream from various colors of yarn pompoms
Real plastic ice cream scoops
Make cone shapes from brown paper
Small plastic cups
Plastic spoons
Turn a cardboard box over and cut 6-8 holes in the base...use as an ice cream cone holder.
White aprons
Add cash register and play money and purses and wallets

 

Ice Cream Parlor II

Open your own ice cream parlor right in the kitchen. Set up your kitchen table with bowls of
 sprinkles, crushed Oreo cookies or Graham crackers, M&Ms, chocolate syrup, strawberries or
 other favorite toppings for your kids. Let them build their own ice cream sundaes by scooping
 out their favorite ice cream into bowls and adding their choice of extras.

 

Ice Cream Vendor

Make tons of play money and get a box and let a child pretend to
 play as an ice cream vendor. then make tons of ice cream and laminate
 them for durability. Or get cartons of empty ice containers.
