Ice Cream Fun

Get inexpensive tub of ice-cream and scoop into the
sensory table. Let the children play in it! Yucky but fun.

Shaving Cream Ice Cream Cone

Print out a pattern of an ice cream cone.  Create a mixture of 2 parts shaving cream
and 1 part school glue.  Encourage the children to put the shaving cream mixture
on their ice cream.  Be sure to tell them it's not to eat.

Magnetic Board Fun

(Or get them big cookie sheets.)

Okay, next you get a picture of ice cream and then draw tons of scoops.
Label each scoop with an alphabet lower case and the scoop cone with the upper case.
You can get them popsicle sticks twin pops picture and xerox all colors as many as you can.
You can let them match them to the color. For the math match you can do ice cream sandwiches. Just do numbers on the ice cones and them put on the scoops dots.
You must laminate them and put magnetic backing on them.
