Spiders
Explain that spiders spin webs from silk that they
create. Webs are made
to catch insects. Spiders then
eat the insects. Tell the class that they
will become web
hunters and will hunt for webs in the classroom.
Pumpkin Exploration
After examining a pumpkin with your
class leave the pumpkin flesh and
seeds out for examining with microscope
and magnifying glasses.
Children also enjoy
the texture, so don't get upset if the get a little messy.
