Hayride Reading

Park a wagon in your reading center and add some props to give it the feel of
an old-fashioned hayride.  Add some straw, an old quilt, and one or two small
pumpkins.  If none of your students are allergic to hay, set some hay bales
around the wagon and stack a few more pumpkins on top.  Then fill a wooden
crate with Halloween books and encourage your children to "fall" into reading.
